We invite students and researchers in a field related to Human-Agent Interaction to submit a report of their fascinating work. Should you consider to participate in NGHAI 2016, please submit an extended abstract.
The extended abstract should be an anonymized and 2-4 pages long, and describe the applicant's past, current, and/or proposed work in ACM SIGCHI paper format. The abstract should include:
    • the key research questions/motivation,
    • background and related work,
    • research methodology,
    • results to date (if any), and
    • remaining or future work.
Please submit your work by email (NGHAI Workshop <>). In the submission, please include your name, affiliation, and extended abstract in PDF.

Review process

The Next Generation Human-Agent Interaction Workshop will follow the peer-review process, that is, submissions will be evaluated by peers based on various factors including:
    • the quality of the submission,
    • the expected benefits of the workshop for the applicant, and
    • the applicant's contribution and backgrounds to the field.
We would like to achieve fascinating submissions and provide the opportunity for the next generation researchers to build collaborative relations with others internationally.

Publication & Attendance

The presentation of this workshop has two components:
    • a ten-minute oral presentation, and
    • a poster presentation.
This will afford speakers the opportunity to present their works to a large audience and to interact more deeply with people who are interested in details. Each speaker will be provided a board for their poster in size of of A0 or less to show their research material in the poster session.
